Took about a month and a half to arrive, but that's blame to be put on the delays in our respective (UK/Canada) postal systems. These earrings are perfect little masterpieces! They arrived three days before my sister's birthday and she absolutely loves them. She's an artist herself and appreciates the talent and detail in these lovlies. Miniature paintings. Scrabo Town. Bee flying over the flowerbed. Donaghadee Harbour.
Up close and very detailed. In order to finish off this little chap properly I had to use a pin to apply paint.
I also paint framed pieces on request.

Little Irish Landscapes....to wear next to your heart.

I've always painted. I am compelled to paint! I used to paint huge canvases, but surgery on my painting hand put an abrupt end to that, however I found that it was possible to paint miniatures without any painful side effects...

I love to paint skies and the natural landscape. In a time when we take more photographs than ever before, there are very few actually printed and even less framed. For this reason I feel that we need art to capture a place and to capture the atmosphere of that place which captured the soul. I hope that my Les Papillons Little Irish Landscape captures the ever changing skies and the Irish landscape for you.
